Customizable negative value in the column filter view
It would be great to be able to filter a column to view all entries WITHOUT a certain value/values.
For example, if I could filter for employee titles WITHOUT the words "vice" or "co-". I have attached a screenshot with what this might look like. Consistency for filtering this way would fall on the user.

Would be great and make sorting through large databases much more selective, especially when multiple values can be added to a certain field.

Yes, that would help .. basically a negative turn .. so items with a certain characteristic would be able to be EXCLUDED from a search!
