When creating repeating tasks (such as a payment plan) it would be SO helpful to have it auto numerate the tasks. After setting the task to repeat X times, being able to see the amount of repeats remaining instead of manually changing each repeat task.
Ie. Process payment (1 / 12) {Aug 1st, 2021}
Process payment (2 / 12) {Sept 1st, 2021}
etc.
Some of our tasks repeat 12-36 times and it is time consuming for us to manually change each task. But sometimes we need to be able to just quickly see how many payments were made. If we…1 vote -

Upload multiple files in one step
You need to change your programming to allow users to upload multiple files at once to a client’s record. Often at our company we are adding sometimes over 10 different files and it is a big pain to have to add each one individually.

AGENDA/Task - Add Person drop-down menu
AGENDA/Task option - ADD Person drop-down menu option to select a specific person for a specific task. One deal can be attached to several people, so it would be useful to have an option to select a specific person for a specific task, given we may want to reach out to people at different times/for different reasons/tasks. Reduce clicks.
Replace all drop down menus with tabs. It takes longer to click on a drop down menu than to click on a tab.
Eg., Agenda, has that + drop down menu for TASK or EVENT. Much easier to show tabs, means user does one click.
Less clicks everywhere all the time, please.

People activities should auto-select deal (when only one exists)
The old People activities interface used to auto-populate the DEAL dropdown if only one deal exists for the person. This allowed the activity to post to the person AND deal at the same time. The vice-versa was also true. However, this functionality has been lost and when new email activities get added automatically, they are missing from the Deal.

Filter People Custom Fields in Agenda (picklist/text)
It would be helpful to be able to filter People custom fields for picklists and texts fields. You cannot currently filter them in the Agenda tab, but both those custom fields types are filterable for Deal and Company records.

Sharing general files
Ability to upload files not necessarily associated with a deal or person. For example, having general files, i.e., price lists, product information etc, stored within PL. Sales people would have easy access to this information without having to store in another program like Dropbox, Google Docs.

Add system columns to "Company" lists for most recent activity anywhere on the company (last activity, activity count, etc)
When viewing the list of companies it would be ideal to have a column that indicated when the last (non-system) engagement/activity was tied to that company. Meaning directly on the company itself OR any of its deals or people. For B2B business sales, knowing which companies have not gotten touches in a certain period of time (with filtering by say last 30 days or whatever). Customer service team has to constantly open each company profile to see if any reps or support have had any contact or actions with a company to determine next outreach timing or see companies that…

Add system fields for products and pricing
Would be helpful to have system drop down for product (names) and associated pricing. Use case: We sell an enterprise application with volume pricing so that each incremental concurrent user, plus various options, will change the price. In our case, we would probably have to list 100+ "products" with a default configuration to accommodate our volume pricing. Currently we use a custom reference field that lists some pricing estimates (e.g. 10 user system of Product Z = $x; 11 user system of Product Z=$y) and that gets manually entered into the deal value field (plus custom fields split of $software…

More Robust Search Function
User's concern was with the results of searches yielding different results within their pipeline based on differences such as entering first name or last name which causes the user's confusion so clearer messaging about the existence of additional matches without having to use the advanced search function.

Declutter Activity Sections - remove/edit header information
Activities section acts more like an audit trail rather than a neat, concise note section. Would be nice if header information was configurable or optional or gone. Much of it seems unnecessary to show in that view. Author, category, date, ok but don't need Deal Name, Person, or Company Name. At least the way we use it, those things are obvious from the record being viewed (that houses the activities).

Improve security by restricting login to approved IP addresses
Other CRMs offer IP restricted login this why don't PD?
It's an easy option implementation and means we can restrict logins to the sales office/approved homes by user so we know that competitors/hackers aren't logging in with a compromised password or competitors acquiring a login.3 votes -
Reply Templates
The email templates are great. But it would be useful if you could select to use a template as a reply to an email, keeping the thread and subject line intact.

Give us the option to leave the top blue header visible or not.
As I scroll down a screen, the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen scrolls up and out of sight. I often find myself scrolling up and up to get it back so I can search for the next record I need.
I don't know if everyone would like to see it remain on screen as everything below it scrolls, but I sure would. If you think that wouldn't be universally appreciated, perhaps you could make it an option for the user.
Just my partly-baked idea for the day.
